COACHING STAFF

Ole Miss welcomed Josh Herbert as the new Head Coach of the club hockey team for the 2018-19 season. Originally from Chicago, Herbert is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where he played 2 seasons before injury halted his playing. Prior to his collegiate career, Herbert played at a competitive level from age 7 in Downers Grove, IL to winning a Tennessee State Championship in 2004 as a captain of his high school team. He has called the Mid-South home for 8 years, where he has found success as a coach and referee. He has been selected to officiate multiple USA Hockey national and regional events and is a part-time linesman in the Southern Professional Hockey League. Herbert was also the co-founder and Head Coach of the club hockey team at the University of Memphis for 3 seasons and coached youth hockey at the Peewee, Bantam, and High School levels to multiple tournament championships.
